The Acoustical Imager features a JBL Surround Sound system in which right-, center-, and left-channel speakers are built into the screen's frame,capable of pushing 88dB. It has five 100-watt speakers in all, plus a 150-watt JBL subwoofer. The system can be upgraded to Surround Sound 6.1 or 7.2 and can be adapted for use with eight different projection surfaces in 4:3 or 16:9 format.
